Food For The World’s Most Exotic Pets

Everyone knows that the most common animals in the UK, and even in many countries, are dogs and cats. There are also many other animals, especially small and fur animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits, which are very popular choices for pets. Dogs are an all time favourite, but it is relatively easy to find food for them. However if your dog is not eating, there may be a problem.

However, with over a million species of animals discovered so far, and probably many more that we do not yet know about, it is not surprising that many people own pets that are a little more exotic than the daily Labrador.

If you are considering buying Australian sugar glider or macaw from South America, it will not be a shock to you that these exotic animals have equally exotic diets and regular pet food cannot.

Here are the five most remarkable animals that are kept as pets around the world and what you will need to feed them.

Kinkajou

Originating in South America, this lovely little mammal is also known as a honey bear. This is the right name when you consider that this sweet toothed creature loves to eat both honey sweets and rubber bears, as well as ducks, bananas, mangoes and figs. However, fruit is not the only thing in their diet, as they also love snacks on ants and other small insects. Kinkajou is very loving and tender, which makes it a very popular exotic animal to own.

Glider Sugar

When competing with kinkajou for the most charming exotic animal, this is a tiny marsupial from Australia, which in nature lives with juice, nectar, pollen and various insects and spiders. This is an interesting and friendly animal, again making it a popular choice among pet owners, although it is night and very sociable, so it is advisable to buy two if you are not able to devote to it the attention it needs at night.

Owners should be aware that the food for this little creature must be rich in calcium and phosphorus, in certain proportions, to avoid ailments such as paralysis of the hind legs.

Saw Hyacinth Macaw

One of the largest parrots in the world, this South American bird is very easily domesticated, making it a great option for pets. However, make sure that your children also love it, because the hyacinth can reach 65 years in captivity and many of them survive their owners.

It is also noteworthy that a friend is for life, so if you are planning to buy a couple you should make sure that you can keep them both together. When it comes to diet, normal supplies for birds can form a good basis for a diet, but make sure they contain a lot of Brazil nuts, pine nuts and macadamia that live in the wild. These birds also feast on acuri nuts, but only after passing through the digestive system of cattle, which slightly softens them, which can make you change your mind about owning them.

White young lions

This albino lion is not really a species, but an ordinary lion, whose recessive gene means that it is easily noticeable by predators, as well as potential prey such as hippos and elephants, which can make it very difficult for it to find a meal. According to Forbes, the white lion is the most expensive pet in the world, and although the young may seem an exotic version of a kitten, let’s not forget that these little creatures will eventually grow into 35 stone adult lions.

Products for cats and tiny portions of cat food will no longer be options with large amounts of meat and so, occasionally, people creating their diet. It is estimated that there are only 300 white lions in the world, which makes it not only exotic, but also an extremely rare domestic animal. Dog peeing blood? Here’s what you should do.

Chinese woodpigeon

Although the name suggests otherwise, these exotic dogs actually come from Africa. They can be born either without hair, known as Hairless, or with him, known as Powerpuff. It is simply a genetic factor and they are still the same species of dog, even if the two look so different. Luckily for dog lovers, the Chinese Crested Dog will eat the same dog food as other, less exotic species.

If you want to get an exotic pet, make sure you research what this pet food needs. Parrots can eat normal bird supplies, but they also need extra items in their diet, and while daily cat food can fit into a white tiger, it will certainly not be enough for a fully developed white tiger.

An Insight to Pet Keeping – Pigeons As a Case Study

What are pets? As the Oxford dictionary explains, “an animal, bird, etc. that you have at home for pleasure and not one that is kept for work or food”. From the above definition, it will be good to say: any animal that sleeps and breeds inside the house can be referred to as a pet.

These animals can be dogs, cats, monkeys, parrots, rodents such as hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.; in extreme cases, snakes, eagles, sheds, swallows, crocodiles, etc., which can be referred to as domestic animals.

As you all know, pigeons belong to the family of birds (birds). They can be described as social beings. But one of the stunning things in these beings is their humility and the general slogan for which they are known as “to live and let live” a term that sounds ironic to other animal communities, for me it is the quality that makes them the most unique creatures to ever walk on the surface of the earth and fly over the sky, and as they clap their wings in humility and unison spread peace, prosperity, and love throughout the length and breadth of their dwelling.

Now, a few years ago, or more precisely in 1996, I was hooked on a pigeon, I was still in my early youth at that time, looking now I find that this experience is very nostalgic every time I recall it.

As I said earlier, I found out about these loving bird beings through a friend, though many years older than him, but as a result of what we had in common: being pigeon-lovers, we gathered as friends.

I visited his place regularly to simply study the life pattern of these unique birds and every time I looked at them, they became more and more fascinating and fascinating for me, and my longing for my own community of pigeons grew until I satisfied this desire by purchasing two sets of pigeons; two males and two females respectively, from whom I built a community of pigeons so large that I was jealous of many of us.

On the contrary, I am not writing this article to tell you about my personal experiences as a former owner of these pets, but rather to provide you with a comprehensive document on how these animals live, eat, reproduce and interact with each other and with their owners, but most of my personal experiences with these birds will be told.

The community consists of males and females, every pigeon has a wife, it sounds funny, but it is true, getting married like us people, the more unfaithfulness of any of the partners is unbearable. The common belief among them is one man, one wife, but most men wander occasionally and their purpose, young non-attached women, another common feature in human societies, the difference is that divorce is the last thing to be taken into account in this very complex but organized society; in contrast to this claim, during all my years of raising these birds as pets, I registered a typical case of divorce.

But with this development, these pigeons became a kind of hermit because they were avoided and treated with contempt by other pigeons in the community. Now a male pigeon in this situation decided to do the unthinkable by interacting with the pigeon that was thrown out, and this relationship ended with the hooking of both pigeons.

Unfortunately, a woman escaped from another male, which led to the exile of this soulless pigeon, which led me to make a decision, because everybody in my home, from father to mother, loved and loved these birds. So I drove the pigeon out for the fact that I left the pigeon not only to my husband but also to the children for whom the male pigeon was pigeoning, and the responsibility for it was the pigeon himself who effectively fulfilled his duties towards him.

Now the pigeons are very interesting a lot to explore, their complexity of character and simplicity is one quality hard to find in any other animal society, from birds to reptiles, from amphibians to aquatic creatures, and even mammals and even monkeys, the community that after the male and female pigeons hook up, they begin to create plans for having a family.

They begin to associate like any other animal in the frame, but one unique thing they associate them with is the prolonged foreplay, amazing? Good pigeons are similar to humans in many ways and this is one of them. They kiss with a male putting his head between the wings from time to time, after this prolonged female fold down into a normal kick.
