The premise of the Wellpet List is to get people thinking and learning about what it is they feed their pets. If you feed commercial and would like to know what else is available, you came to the right place. There are lists of several commercial foods here. Wellpet is not strictly limited to the BARF way of feeding as we recognize that not all people are ready to make that commitment. We encourage dialogue with people who are new to this way of thinking. Wellpet members will help those people who are ready to change make the transition. People on Wellpet feed commercial, cooked and raw food. We try to help people learn that a raw diet is of course optimum, but if a member goes from a grocery store brand to a much better commercial food than I think we have accomplished something.

There are many, many web sites that address the things that this site will. Some have better links or at least different links. In editing this site, I realized that I would have to spend a year here if I were going to add everything. And most of that would go unread, I am sure. The most often talked topics are here, of course and there are a few fun facts sprinkled in. And if anyone has topics they feel I overlooked (I am sure there are quite a few)or links they would like added, please write to me privately and I will make a collection.
